In a clash of the top two in the Saudi Pro league; Al-Hilal hosted Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr. The pyrotechnic display added a cauldron of an atmosphere, as the game got underway.
Hilal’s star-striker, Aleksandar Mitrovic went close first, with an excellent effort from an acute angle. In contrast, Nassr were wasteful, revved on by individualism rather than teamwork, epitomised by a lazy solo effort from Sadio Mane.
The first half was a lot of toil and bubble, without being brought to boil through goalmouth trouble.
That was until Milinković-Savić leapt up from a cross to dispatch a tidily-taken header to disrupt that opening 45 minutes pattern of play.
Another header doubled the score from Mitrovic, who cooly added a final third with a swiftly-patterned goal – leaving the final score, Al-Hilal 3 Al-Nassr 0.
